killer workout

Today's Body Power was tough and fun. It is more like a Power60 workout of old:
80 yards each of: overhead KB carry, run, racked KB carry, run, lunges, run, broad jumps, run
Then repeat each exercise at 60 yards.
Then repeat each with 40 yards.
Then, finally, repeat each with 20 yards.

I used 12k's. I was very tired by the end, and I could definitely tell I worked out!

Awesome workout! I miss having space to move around in...Stuck with small area workouts for the time being. I'm going to do some k-bells tomorrow morning before a drive to Milwaukee. K-smash, are you asking about the run around the block to be mean?

No, I'm curious, because I'm wondering if its the one thats a little more than 400 meters or if it was shorter. Running around the block by the MBG was a little longer than 1/4 mile. Of course I'm not being mean!

I might like to try that workout with my KBs sometime...I'd have to go to the track, so I was trying to figure out how many laps I'd do. Prob just one.

the run was indoor (we did laps). If you did use the track, you'd have to use just a straightaway, and do half the distance down, and the rest back (to get your KB's for the next exercise). Its a short sprint.

I guess I shouldn't mention it was above zero today . . . even with the wind chill taken into account. How's that for balmy! I didn't even put both of my hoods up :)
